I don't know if its a state thing but here in Indiana you can't be within a certain distance of a school. I don't know the specific law but it does seem odd that one would be in a school. waubnimoosh - 5/23/2008 at 03:22 PM friend has a sex offender liveing in house with his daughter.he is her step father.nothing being done a bout it in grand island nebraska her name is patty ducharme she only 15.her mother let him in the house even know he is a sex preditor morgan217 - 10/15/2008 at 03:32 PM my father is a registered sex offender for an incident that happened a few years ago. he is not a bad person he is just human and made a mistake. after he was released from prison we reunited and he now has full custody of me. my problem is that he has a girlfriend which has a son whom lives with us and me and kyle have grown to have a great relationship as brother and sister; my father also looks to him as a son. he has lived with us for a year now. my problem is my father's new probation officer claims that her son can no longer live with us and that he will be arrested if he finds out that he does after today. does anyone know if this is true? or if my dad and his girlfriend get married then can he stay? if anyone can help it would really be great. i dont want to lose my little brother. Can you offer any advice on what I need to do. PTSO would pay for whatever is needed, however, we would prefer to get as much as we can for free.
